He has received the Second Prize of the Military Science and Technology Progress Award as the third contributor, among other awards. He currently leads one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. As a graduate supervisor, Professor Qi Zuoliang has trained 9 doctoral and master's students. In his teaching work, he leads by example, serves as a role model, and is deeply respected and loved by his students
